Funeral services for Nora Tiger, 30, of Sioux Falls, SD and former Ft. Yates resident, will be Wednesday, Oct. 17 at 10:00AM, CDT, at St. Bede's Catholic Church, Wakpala. Burial will follow at the church cemetery. Meet at the Stout Family Funeral Home, Mobridge, at 5:00PM Tuesday to proceed to the Wakpala Community Center for an all-night wake with services beginning at 7:00PM. Nora entered the spirit world Oct. 9, 2012 in Sioux Falls.

Nora Mae Tiger was born February 24, 1982 in Bismarck, North Dakota to Kathleen M. Tiger and Michael G. Schumacher. Nora attended elementary school and middle school in Mobridge, South Dakota, later completing her G.E.D.

Nora was employed at John Morrell's & Company for 3 years. In her later years she worked as a housekeeper and a production worker.

Nora enjoyed working, baby sitting, going to Mexican dances and shopping. She was involved as much as she possibly could in every element of her family's life and was very active in her kids, nieces and nephews upbringing. Her greatest joy was to see all her family gathered around her sharing the joys of everyday life. She will be greatly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Nora is survived by her mother, Kathleen, of Ft. Yates, ND; her father, Michael of Bismarck, ND; her son, Skylar Moody of Mandan, ND; her daughter, Natasha Moody of Sioux Falls, SD; her siblings, Jeremy Tiger of Sioux Falls, SD, Kenny Tiger of Mobridge, SD, Pearl Tiger of Ft. Yates, ND along with several nieces, nephews, cousins and other extended family & friends.

Nora was preceded in death by her grandparents, Walter M. Tiger, Nora Mae Rough Surface-Silk; uncle, Gilbert Tiger; grandpa, Fremont V. Tiger; aunt, Roberta Tiger-White Bull; aunt, Victoria "Sugar" Three Legs and special friend, Ursula Crowskin.
