Funeral services for Gene "Geno" Condon, 59, of Eagle Butte, will be Wednesday, April 17th at 2:00PM at the Cherry Creek Community Center. Burial follows at St. Andrew's Episcopal Cemetery, Cherry Creek, under the direction of Stout Family Funeral Home, Mobridge. Meet at the Cherry Creek Hill 4:00PM Tuesday to process to the community center for wake services beginning at 7:00PM. Gene Thomas Condon or "Geno", as he was commonly called, was born August 2, 1953 to Laura Between Lodges and Silas Condon at Cheyenne Agency, South Dakota. He was raised and educated in his early years in Cherry Creek, attending high school in Eagle Butte.

Geno worked as a construction laborer and also in road construction. When he wasn't working, he liked to be around his family and friends. He liked to laugh and tell stories, but most of all he loved his children, grandchildren and family with all his heart. Geno will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Geno is survived by his children, Eileen Condon, Ira Condon and Elena Condon; 9 grandchildren, Spencer Condon, Sasha Condon, Marlee Condon, Trish Dupris, Jimi Condon, Miana Kills Spotted, Miguel Dupris, Neeta Kills Spotted and Charles Hayes; 1 great-granddaughter, LaRae Felton; sisters, Pearl Hollow Horn of Red Scaffold, SD, Rita Woolard of San Jose, CA, Madeline LeClaire of Rapid City, SD, Bernadine Condon of Eagle Butte, SD and Jeanette Condon of Oakland, CA; brothers, Darrell Condon of McLaughlin, SD, Merrill Condon of Eagle Butte, SD, Reggie Kills One Hundred of Takini, SD and Cyrus Condon, Sr. of Rapid City, SD along with special friend, Francine Blue Arm.

Geno was preceded in death by his parents, Laura and Silas Condon.
