Funeral services for Clayton "Clay" Zahn, 40, of Ft. Yates, ND, will be Friday, April 12th at 11:00AM, CDT, at St. Luke's Episcopal Church,
Ft. Yates, withCanon John Floberg officiating. Burial followed at the Young Family Cemetery, rural Ft. Yates. Casketbearers were Joe "Cubby"
Agard, Jr., Bronson Painte, Taro Unno, Orrin Cottonwood, Trevor Bates and Arthur Silk, Jr. A procession left Stout Family Funeral Home,
Mobridge at 4:00PM Thursday to the church for wake services beginning at 7:00PM. Clay entered the spirit world Apr. 4, 2013 in Mandan, ND.

Clayton Roy Zahn, or Clay as he was commonly known, was born July 21, 1972 in Fort Yates, ND, to Francis Benjamin Zahn and Bette Jean Young.

At the age of three, the family moved to Los Angeles, California. Clay was schooled in Los Angeles and enjoyed his pets, especially his dogs.
He loved to listen to music, play computer games and watch television, especially if his Los Angeles Lakers or Oakland Raiders were playing.

Clay, from a very early age, had severe health issues, but was a very friendly and happy person. He loved spending time with his friends and
family, especially his foster brother, Trevor. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

Grateful for having shared his life is his mother, Betty Jean Young Manning, Ft. Yates; sister, Kezawin Zahn (Lavance) Boyd, Kent, WA;
foster brother, Trevor Bates along with several other foster brothers and sisters; aunties, Frances Young (Robert) Silk, Selfridge, ND, Sharon
Young Sandoval, Ft. Yates, Carol Young (Billy White Eagle) Little Owl, Solen, ND and Debi Young (James) Unno, Ft. Yates; uncle, Eugene
"Pepper" (Phyllis) Young, Ft. Yates and numerous cousins.

Clay was preceded in death by his father, Francis Zahn and grandparents, Mary Young Bailey, John Henry Bailey and Gabe Young.
